I See Grace

Lyrics Composer : Karen Lim, New Creation Church

Jesus my help
I call on Your name
I cast my cares on You
Jesus my hope
my tower of strength
my faith is found in You

[Bridge]
I see You pierced
wounded for me
when I look to the cross I see

[chorus]
I see grace
sealed by Your sacrifice
I see love
reaching for me
Precious blood,
washes and sanctifies
Healing flows
setting me free
I see grace

Bearer of sin
Afflicted and tried
You paid Redemption's price
Bearing my curse
You set me on high
Your death has brought me life

Israel and the Church - What's the Relationship?

When studying the Jewish roots of Christianity, certain questions often arise regarding the nature of the “Church,” the nature of “Israel,” and the relationship between them. Do Gentile Christians become “Jewish” on account of their relationship to Jesus? Does the “Church” somehow replace the Jewish people in God’s plan as the “new Israel”? Exactly how should we understand the relationship between the Church and Israel today?

Sacrifice by Bob Fitts

Sacrifice by Bob Fitts

Oh this must be the hardest hill I've ever climbed
For I must sacrifice you, promised son of mine
And so I go to worship with you by my side
And trust the sacrifice, He will provide

And though I cherish you
I must now offer you
To Him who is the giver of all good things
And though I cherish you
I will now offer you
For surely He could raise you up again

Here on this altar Father I lay all my dreams
And offer back to you this child You've given me
O son you must believe He's called us to obey
And by His love He'll make a better way

And though I cherish you
I must now offer you
To Him who is the giver of all good things
And though I cherish you
I will now offer you
For surely He will raise you up again

O Abraham! Oh Abraham!
Now that I know you fear My name
Withhold your hand
O Abraham! O faithful man!
Your only son, he's not the one
Behold the ram
Behold the Lamb!

It must've been the hardest thing He'd ever done
When God the Father sacrificed His only Son
Though One He most cherished gave His life away
And by His love He made a better way

And so I cherish You
And so I honor You
For truly You are the giver of all good things
And so I cherish You
And so I honor You
Your sacrifice is now the King of Kings

Jehovah Jireh
He has provided
The sacrifice of love no man could ever pay
And what He requires of you and me
Even the hardest things
Your blood of Christ
Your sacrifice gives me strength to obey

Gloom and doom, prophecy and hope

A new report issued by the German-based Energy Watch Group suggests all the global warming alarmists can stop worrying about the damage being done to the climate by fossil fuel emissions.

Global warming alarmists predict that 50 years from now, fossil fuel emissions produced by human civilization will have catastrophic consequences on the weather. Well, according to the German group, in 50 years, we'll have run out of fossil fuels anyway. It says that global oil production peaked in 2006 – much earlier than most experts had expected. The report predicts that production will now fall by 7 percent a year and that by 2050, there won't be enough left for it to be a factor.

Live Above the World!!

Romans 8:7 says, The carnal mind is enmity against God.

Romans 12:2 nkjv says, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

When your spirit man is renewed, you shall live above the world’s standards and make godly choices. Right believing will produce right living.. Amen?

DICTIONARY OF THE GOSPEL

Grace vs Law

There has always been a debate over the issue of whether a person is saved once and forever the moment he accepts Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. The irony is that nobody disputes the fact that no one can be saved by means of his or her own righteous deeds no matter how great. Every Christian believes that one is saved only by grace through faith. However, there are Christians who believe that if you sin as a Christian, you lose fellowship with God. Is this true?
