1 John 5:13

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

'Know' means 'to be aware, to see, and to perceive.'
Our Heavenly Father could have kept us guessing on this one, but instead, He wants us to know we're saved. He did this simply because if we were insecure about our salvation, it would warp our walk with Him. He knows that without the salvation issue settled in our hearts, we would be tempted to view Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and worship as ways of earning our salvation rather than natural byproducts flowing from a life that's been transformed by Him.

Salvation is something to be known. And the better we know it, the better we can reign in life. Amen?

Amen CybeRanger!

Thank God for his son, Jesus Christ for His life and precious blood that was shed on the Cross for all of us.

Salvation is a gift to all of us. We just have to believe, love and trust him. A gift that is eternal.

Hallelujah!
