Is Narnia just a story?

Are you willing to join the adventure of being a follower of the “not tame, but good” Jesus?

Are you willing to have your heart softened from the hurts you have experienced and from the guilt of the things you have regretted doing?

Are you willing to encounter the majestic Jesus who died on the cross for you?

2006 - A glorious year of heaven on earth!

Now what about 2006? There is no way to tell it! Oh Lord, oh my! How do you describe it? And that’s just the beginning. Yeah, when I say “beginning,” I’m talking about what happens just at the beginning of the year!

And it’ll grow in intensity. . . . it will be a glorious year. It will be a year of heaven on earth! But the end will be [even] more glorious than the beginning.

So rejoice and be glad. The enemy is a defeated foe! Jesus has triumphed. Victory belongs to everyone. No one should come up empty–handed, but everyone should walk in full victory, commanding and demanding their rights and privileges in Christ Jesus . . . demanding nothing of the Father–He’s the One who made the provision. But demanding of the devil, who is endeavoring to thwart the plan of God, who is endeavoring to keep it from coming to pass.

But it will all come to pass. It will all come to pass at last.

Why JESUS is better than Santa Claus

Santa lives at the North Pole ...
JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh ...
JESUS rides on the clouds and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year ...
JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies ...
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited ...
JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your
heart when invited.

You have to wait in line to see Santa ...
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap ...
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little
boy (or girl,) what's your name?" ...
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our
name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and
future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ...
JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO ...
JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry" ...
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you."

Santa's little helpers make toys ...
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken
homes and builds mansions.

Santa is a "jolly old elf"
JESUS is the King of Kings

Santa may make you chuckle but ...
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree ...
JESUS became our gift and died on a tree.

We Were The Reason

As little children, we would dream of Christmas morn
And all the gifts and toys we knew we'd find
But we never realised a baby born one blessed night
Gave us the greatest gift of our lives

CHORUS:
We were the reason that He gave his life
We were the reason that He suffered and died
To a world that was lost He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live

As the years went by, we learn more about gifts
The giving of ourselves in what that means on the dark and cloudy day
Man hung crying in the rain
Because of love (x2)
Oh…..

[CHORUS]

I've finally found the reason for living
It's in giving every part of my heart to Him
In all that I do, every word that I say
I'll be giving my all just for Him, for Him

[CHORUS]

He gave me a reason
He is the reason to live...

Don’t you know
Don’t you know the reason
that he gave, he gave to save us
We are the reason that he suffered & die
To a world that was lost
He gave everything, everything
Oh……live
Oh, yes he came
Jesus, I want to thank you, thank you Lord, to show us a reason to live Ah….ah…..
He is the reason to LIVE!

Watch and Pray for Jerusalem...

* Click HERE to listen and know the truth about Israel, which you won't get thru most newspapers & TV. *

Palestinian troops took control of former Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip on September 12, 2005, as Israeli troops moved out before dawn in convoys, marking the end of a 38-year occupation.

The International Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, instituted with the endorsement of hundreds of Christian leaders from around the world, representing tens of millions of Christians, will be held annually on the first Sunday of every October, until the coming of Messiah.

(1 Thess. 4:16-17) "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a SHOUT, with the VOICE of the archangel, and with the TRUMPET of God: and the dead in Christ SHALL RISE first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."

(Zechariah 12:2-3) "Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. "It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.

(1 Thessalonians 5:2-3) For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, "Peace and Safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.

My most favourite song...

Pray at all times

Pray at all times, never ceasing
Ask for what you need with thanksgiving
Join together in agreement
And together we’ll see the kingdom come

Give thanks to the Father for He hears all our prayers
Give thanks to the Son for He prays for us
Give thanks to the Spirit for when we don’t know how to pray
He will plead with God on our behalf

HalleluYah... HalleluYah... HalleluYah... HalleluYah...

Alleluia/ Hallelujah comes from a Hebrew phrase ('Hallelu Yah') which means Praise the Lord! 'Hallel' is the Hebrew word for 'praise', "Hallelu" is the plural form, and 'Yah' is the short form of 'Yahweh'.

There are only four hallelujahs in the New Testament, — all found in Revelation 19, the chapter that tells us about the glorious appearing of Christ. Do these four hallelujahs in Psalms 104, 105 and 106 also relate to the events surrounding the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ? Hmmm...just wondering...

Pray for Israel

Abba Father, create in Your people the faith that You will bring them through. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Today as of old You forgive sin, and help Your people. You will not allow them to be destroyed.Father, You see how Your people Israel are hated by all those who hate You. You suffer with Your people. We pray that those who try to destroy Your people will actually drive them to You. Father, Your people are surrounded by mortal enemies. We pray that their fear will not cast them into despair, but cause them to seek Your face in prayer.Father, may You have the comfort of seeing Your people take refuge in Your heart.Father, kindle in them the flame of faith by Your Spirit. In their distress help them to put their trust in You, their God, the God of Israel, who – as they know and proclaim – does miracles. Lord, bless Israel, the people You love. Give them daily the grace of repentance and faith. In these dark times let them experience miraculous instances of Your help. In the precious name of our Lord Jesus we pray. Amen.

Abba Father, I look to You and seek Your face, Your strength, and Your love this day. I believe that each prayer will break down a stronghold, and each act of love will touch a heart. In Jesus mighty and powerful name I pray and give thanks. Amen.

Do you know how to stop worrying?

Start praying...

Prayer is the replacement for worry. If you don’t want to worry then you need to pray. Are you to only pray about a few things and worry about others? No, Philippians 4:6-7 says in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Don’t worry about anything but pray about everything! Amen?

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

(Phil 1:6)

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me deeply and calling me to walk with you in LOVE. Help me to focus on you today, and to trust in you in all things. You are my blessed assurance, and nothing compares to knowing you. You are my love and you are my life. Hallelujah!

Fear of Terrorism?

(Isaiah 54:14-17)

"In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you. "If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. "Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals And brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD.

(Lam 3:24)

Abba Father, thank you so much for making a way for me in Christ. I could never earn this, which is this beyond anything I could ask or imagine. It is given because of Jesus who gave himself, by your good pleasure, to make me His own. All things you have given over to Christ, and He is my portion, therefore I will hope in Him. I give thanks and praise in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

A Scriptural and Practical Approach to Divine Healing

Isaiah 53:4-5 says "Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses) and our sorrows (pains); Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

Yet, the devil has succeeded in robbing many generations of Christians of this truth. And there are those in the body of Christ who even believe that God gives them sicknesses and diseases to teach them lessons!

If you are a believer, nothing could be further from the truth! Christ has redeemed you from the curse of sickness, disease and pain.

Would you like to know?
God did heal supernaturally. Does God still do it?
What Are Some of The Scriptures Indicating Divine Healing is God's Will?
What is the role of faith in divine healing?

"You did awesome things that we did not expect."

(Isaiah 64:3)

Abba Father, I ask that You expand my vision, and teach me how to pray the prayers of Your own heart. Show me how to grow closer to You each day, and to invite You into every aspect of my life. Thank You that as I pursue You with passion, by grace through faith, You will do awesome things beyond my highest expectations! I give you thanks in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!

Thus says the Lord GOD: “Repent, turn away from your idols, and turn your faces away from all your abominations.

(Eze 14:6)

Lord Jesus, thank you for the truth that sets us free from sin. Help me to abide in you, and to hold out the true gospel- you are the narrow gate where few will enter. Grant me grace to love those who pervert the gospel, and warn them in love, that they might be granted repentance into the knowledge of your grace.
