For centuries the question of suffering has been discussed in churches, temples, synagogues, in classrooms, and on the street. Every time we turn on the television, pickup the newspaper, or flip through a magazine we are bombarded by images of tragedy and suffering taking place around the world. Is there an explanation for this?
