Be Glad Continually

By Joel Osteen

Scripture tells us to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

Every morning we have a choice, to put our hope in the Lord and put on a garment of praise, or to live discouraged and defeated.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 says, "Be happy in your faith, glad-hearted, continually and always."

Notice how long we're supposed to be this way. As long as we feel okay? As long as people treat us right? No, it says, "continually and always." That means in the good times and in the tough times, when it's sunny and when it's raining.

When those dark clouds are over your head and you feel like life is kind of gloomy, always remember, above those dark clouds the sun is shining!

The good news is, the clouds are temporary. The sun is going to shine in your life once again. The key is, in the meantime, always keep your joy.

We're supposed to be joyful and glad-hearted in the middle of tough times because when you lose your joy, you lose your strength.

In the difficult times, more than ever, that's when you need your strength. Don't be determined to never have problems; be determined to stay full of joy in the midst of your problems.

Get up each morning and prepare for victory. Arrange your mind in the right direction.

And no matter what comes your way, don't lose your joy. If you will keep the voice of joy and gladness, you cannot stay down and defeated.

God has promised He is going to reverse and restore and the joy of the Lord will be your strength.

Bring the Gospel Back into Your Giving! (by Benny Hinn)

We are facing difficult days and an uncertain future. The world is in trouble. It is quite chaotic out there, and people are afraid.

We are told, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). Only when we keep our eyes on the Lord, fix our hearts upon Him, and do His will can we live with certainty and protection in such an uncertain and unsafe world.

What does it mean to keep our hearts fixed on Him?

You Have Comeback Power - by Joel Osteen

We all have situations we face that seem like they could bury us: the loss of a loved one, bad news concerning our health, a layoff, a divorce.

The only difference between being buried and being planted is the expectancy of what is going to happen next.

When something is buried, it's not coming back. But when something is planted, like a seed, it always comes back, producing more than what it originally was when it went into ground.

It's during the times before a seed blossoms that can seem dark and uncomfortable. It feels buried. It can't see any light. But the truth is, it hasn't been buried; it's only been planted. Before long, that seed is no longer hidden and alone. But it grows into beautiful plant producing all kinds of bright, colorful flowers or fruit.

Jesus said in John 12:24, "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and is planted, it will not produce fruit." A seeds' potential will never be fully realized until it's planted. No matter what comes against you in life know this: you are not buried, you are planted!

You may feel like you've got some dirt on top of you and things are keeping you down. But you have to realize, you've simply been planted. That same dirt that is trying to bury you can be the dirt God is going to use to promote you. That means you're not only going to just come back, you're going to come back better, increased and stronger.

Always remember, what was meant for your harm, God will use it to your advantage. You're going to see God blossom your life in ways you've never dreamed of!

The Validity of the Resurrection: Personified

Written by Dr. David R. Reagan

There is simply no way to overemphasize the importance of the resurrection to the Christian faith, for the resurrection of Jesus is the Christian faith. Christianity stands or falls on the validity, the historical reality of the resurrection. The resurrection of Jesus is either the greatest event in the history of mankind, or it is the cruelest hoax that has ever been perpetrated. Which is it, truth or fantasy?

An Anointing of Ease - by Joel Osteen

When you step into an anointing of ease, what was once difficult suddenly becomes easy. Things you used to struggle with are not a struggle anymore. There's a supernatural grace and favor that lightens the load and takes the pressure off.

Jesus said, "My yolk is easy and my burden is light." No matter how things look, you should know the most powerful force in the universe, God Almighty, is blowing an anointing of ease in your direction.

Scripture says, "It's not by our might. It's not by our power. But it's by the breath of Almighty God." As God breathes in your life, things become easier and negative situations turn around.

Psalm 126 says, "It seemed like a dream too good to be true when God gave us the victory. Now God, do it again so those with heavy hearts will come out laughing with armloads of blessings." That's God's dream.

When you have a heavy heart, when life deals you a difficult blow, God wants to turn it around and not only bring you out, but bring you out with a smile and better off than you were before with armloads of blessings.

When we realize this and receive it, there is a peace that only God can give that strengthens us, lifts our heavy loads, and brings us out of situations stronger, full of more joy, peace, faith and victory.

God Works All Things Out for Our Good - by Joel Osteen

God has predestined us to live a life of victory. But when things happen that don't make sense and they're hard to understand, it's easy to get stuck trying to make sense of everything. But God has another piece to the puzzle of your life coming your way.

Life is not always fair, but God is fair. He promises in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for our good. The key is the word "together." In other words, we can't isolate one part of our life and say, "Well, this isn't good." It might be true, but it's just one part of our life and one piece of our puzzle. God sees the bigger picture and disappointment is not the end. Our life doesn't end because of one setback.

The Scripture says that all our days have been written in God's book. He's already recorded every part of our lives from the beginning to the end. He knows every disappointment, loss and challenge.

The good news is our story ends in victory. Our final chapter concludes with fulfilling our God-given destiny. Sometimes it's easy to become focused on what didn't work out as we've reread that chapter of our life 450 times! But when this happens, it's time to move forward into the new chapter God has in store. God has some ingredients for your life coming your way that will turn the sour into sweet and the mourning into dancing. He even has ingredients that will lift you out of mediocrity and into a life of abundance because our God is the God who works all things together for our good!

  35. Thank You so much for Your perfect work in me, to keep me free from comparing myself with others, and faultfinding, so that I can walk with You in love.
  36. Thank You so much for being with me, especially in the blindness of my frustration, and for calling me to turn aside from the dust storm of my own understanding, to lay my burdens down at Your feet.
  37. Thank You so much for Your kindness toward me and Your covenant of shalom peace.
  38. Thank You so much for helping me to get to know You more and more, so that my relationship with You can produce the aroma of Christ in and through me, in all that I do.

Eyes to See the Goodness of God

Trust is about believing in His goodness, and when we see how good He is to us, we respond by loving Him. Makes sense, doesn’t it? But if we are short on trust, it’s because we’ve not perceived His goodness. We will love Him to the degree that we see He is good and specifically good to and for us.

Recognizing What Battles to Fight (By Joel Osteen)

Speak God's promises over and over until they become embedded in your heart...

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

No weapon formed against me will prosper.

I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.

God has not brought me this far to let me down now.

God is my Avenger.

The weapons of my warfare are not carnal but MIGHTY.

To him who believes ALL things are possible and I am a believer.

The lions will not devour me.

In the furnace, the fire will not burn me. My clothes will not even smell of the smoke.

My shield of FAITH will quench all the fiery darts of the enemy.

When the battle is over I will be standing because I am on the Lord's side.

I submit to God and resist the devil. The devil must flee.

This is the victory that has overcome the world, my faith.

No One Wants To Die

“What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows to the LORD now in the presence of all His people. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:12-15.

"At The Cross" - lyrics by Hillsong

Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me

Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me

At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was she'd for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now

You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me

You tore the veil
You made a way
When You said that it is done

And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me

The Blessing Song (by Dennis Jernigan)

May the Lord answer you in the day of your trouble!
May the name of the Lord be your strong mighty tower!
May He grant you your heart's deepest dreams and desires!
May He answer each time you call!

May He pour out the blessing of heaven!
May you cast your cares on Him and daily fall!
May you live to see your children's children!
May Lord Jesus be your All in All!

May the Lord Jesus Christ satisfy beyond all measure!
May His Word light your path!
May His Peace guard your heart!
May your days be filled with gladness, joy and peace through any sadness
Filled with love that will not depart!

May your strength be renewed like the eagle!
As you run the race may joy flood every part!
May your memories all be sweet in each parting!
May the peace of Christ rule your heart!

May His word be to you health and life, joy and treasure.
May your home be a light.
May the Lord guard your ways.
May the Lord be your shepherd.
May His goodness and mercy follow after you all your days!

May His mercies be new every morning!
May His grace and Holy Spirit help you stand!
May you live your life to die for the gospel!
May you hold to His unchanging hand!

May the Lord answer you in the day of your trouble!
May the name of the Lord be your strong mighty tower!

Christ the High Priest

Hebrews 4:15-16 says:
"Having then a great high priest - Jesus the Son of God, who passed through the Heavens - we should grasp our confession firmly. For we do not have a high priest who is incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, since He had been tempted in a like manner in every way apart from sin. Let us then confidently approach the Throne of Grace, that we might receive mercy and find grace for help at exactly the right time."

The Blessing of Abraham

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit” (Galatians 3:13-14, NIV).

Do you like this quotes?

"This is my Bible: I am what it says I am; I have what it says I have; I can do what it says I can do. Today, I will be taught the Word of God. I'll boldly confess. My mind is alert; my heart is receptive; I will never be the same. I am about to receive the incorruptible, indestructible, ever-living Seed of the Word of God. I'll never be the same - never, never, never! I'll never be the same, in Jesus' Name."
